Pecans are a source of proteins, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and nutrients including niacin, vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin E Pecans have a high fat content but they have healthy fats that are considered to help lower LDL cholesterol.

    Shopping list for 4 4 Pears about 80g each
240g Roquefort
80g Pecans
1 slice of rye bread (55g) or 1 wholemeal mini pitta bread
80g soya beans
Lettuce
celery
  • Method
    
1.Cook the soya beans for about 4 mins and then plunge into cold water.
2. Grill the rye bread.
3. Lay out the lettuce, celery, soya beans, pears, roquefort and pecans into a salad.
